Project BIOMETRIA
Year 2023
Brief
A third of the UK population suffers from musculoskeletal conditions affecting their joints. This project aimed to streamline physiotherapy through biometric data collection and anthropometric exercise monitoring, enhancing at-home practice and user engagement.
Outcome
The solution integrates gamified physiotherapy exercises with wearable biometric tracking to ensure proper at-home practice, reduce the risk of injury from insufficient professional guidance, and make rehabilitation more enjoyable. Additionally, it provides practitioners with actionable data to support clinical analysis and improve critical reasoning in treatment planning remotely.
